About this kit
This kit contains a broad assortment of simulated IEDs of the types used to perpetrate mass casualty attacks. These items include the five main components of this type of IED - explosives simulant, initiating and firing system, operating mechanism, battery and shrapnel.
The diverse simulated IEDs in this kit replicate explosive charges used by suicide bombers, remote controlled devices, devices with delayed activation mechanisms or combined mechanisms. They were constructed based on an analysis of past terror incidents and of the modi operandi employed by adversaries when preparing IEDs for mass casualty attacks. The operating system, the simulants that replicate real explosive materials and the fragments intended to maximize damage are a close reproduction of a genuine explosive device.

This kit contains a large assortment of initiating and firing systems and improvised operating systems that simulate those used in IEDs in a variety of scenarios - suicide attacks, terror attacks targeting commercial aviation, remote controlled or timer activated explosive devices used in mass casualty attacks, explosive devices used in VBIEDs (vehicle borne improvised explosive devices) and more.
The variety of mechanical, chemical and electrical initiating and firing systems are displayed in transparent epoxy molds. The kit includes various active initiators with audio and visual indications that appear upon their activation. The kit was constructed based on extensive professional experience in training focusing on explosive materials, operating systems and the modi operandi employed by the adversary in the preparation of IEDs.
